Hotel worker found dead Slipknot bassist Paul Gray in his room told a 911 operator that a needle beside Gray's bed and there were pills everywhere. TownePlace Suites maintenance worker Mike Kellow Monday told the operator that his 38-year-old Gray's body found in a corner of his room, slumped against a wall. Kellow says he checked on Gray after the mother of the bass player called the Urbandale, Iowa, the hotel because she could not reach her son. Police say there was no evidence of foul play or trauma and an autopsy was inconclusive on how Gray died. Police awaiting the results of toxicological tests.
